Tonya is a former 1996 graduate of Bowling Green Technical College, formerly known as Glasgow School for Health Occupations.  After completing the Practical Nursing Program, she worked for T.J. Samson Community Hospital as an LPN.  She obtained her Associate of Science in Nursing in 1999 from Western Kentucky University and continued at T.J. Samson for 2 years after obtaining her RN.  She then worked for Family Home Health Care for 6 ½ years and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006 from Western Kentucky University.  She began employment with Bowling Green Technical College in July 2007 as a nursing instructor.
