Kentucky Virtual Library (KYVL)  (Available Off Campus)

The Kentucky Virtual Library (KYVL) offers a wide variety of databases including books, journals, magazines, newspapers and multimedia. Academic OneFile

Peer-reviewed, full-text articles from over 10,000 journals and reference sources. Covers the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts, theology, literature and other subjects.

Expanded Academic ASAP

Access over 4,000 scholarly journals, news magazines, and newspapers from all academic programs.

Health and Wellness Resource Center

Medical reference materials, pamphlets and videos. General interest database.

Health Reference Center Academic

Provides access to the full text of nursing and allied health journals, plus a wide variety of personal health information.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center

Examines many different aspects of a single topical issue. Opposing points of view expressed on each topic challenges readers to question their personal opinions through each contributor's use of facts, argumentation style and persuasive techniques. The Critical Thinking module includes an audio component so students can listen to the articles or download them to MP3 players.


Net Library (Available Off Campus--Must create a free account on a campus computer first.)

NetLibrary provides full-text access to over 15,000 fiction and nonfiction electronic books (ebooks). Ebook titles are included in the BGTC Library Catalog. They are designated by [Electronic Resource] following the book's title in the catalog listing.
